Leela Bunce is a Somerset-based theatre-maker with a background in clown and physical theatre. She originally studied history at university before turning to performance, and has a special interest in social history, women’s history and particularly the “history of the everyday”. Her previous solo show Waiting for Stanley told the story of women on the home front during WWII – a hit at the Edinburgh Fringe, it toured the UK in 2015. Most recently Leela has toured the UK as Sherlock Holmes in Calf 2 Cow Theatre Company’s outdoor production of Sherlock and Watson: A Murder in the Garden, and as Willow in beautiful early years dance-theatre show Early Weaves.
