From Stonehenge to the slums of Victorian London, David Musgrove explores the story of Britain’s changing toilet habits and reveals some surprising toilet-based stories. Based on his popular HistoryExtra podcast series, Toilets through Time, this talk will give you the inside track on the history of the thing we all need to do, but don’t like to talk about. Expect to hear about everything from changing toilet etiquette over the centuries, to how the course of British history was changed by things that happened in the water closet.
