Gale Pettifer
Dr Gale Pettifer is an environmental historian, with an interest in royal forests and enclosures, who gained her PhD from the University of Southampton. She is a practicing New Forest commoner, with ancient Rights of Pasture that allow her to depasture cattle, ponies, and donkeys onto the unenclosed landscape of the New Forest, in Hampshire.
