Fresh from filming together in Southeast Asia, award-winning authors and broadcasters Levison Wood and Alex Bescoby join Bertie Lawson of Sampan Travel to share the making of their new film commemorating VJ80, and the final veterans of the Burma Campaign. Retracing the journey of Levison’s grandfather, who fought to liberate Burma in 1944–45, they bring to life one of WWII’s most overlooked theatres—and reflect on why we should still remember the Burma Campaign today.
