Advances in modern medicine have spiked a resurgence of interest in never dying. But can we really live forever? Professor of Vaccine Immunology, John Tregoning, and medical doctor and historian Suzie Edge discuss issues such as how causes of death have changed over time, how we have tried to stave off ageing and whether the ‘wellness’ movement really offers any solutions and ultimately the most important question – even if we could live forever, should we?
