David Musgrove is content director of the HistoryExtra.com website and podcast, plus its sister print magazine BBC History Magazine. He has a PhD in medieval landscape archaeology. He has worked in history publishing for twenty years. He is author of 100 Places that made Britain, and with Michael Lewis, The Story of the Bayeux Tapestry. He regularly interviews historians for the podcast and he researched, wrote and hosted the 6-part podcast series called ‘The tiger tamer who went to sea’ all about the life and times of surprising Victorian Bob Carlisle.
