Alex Langlands is an archaeologist and historian. A frequent Chalke History Festival-goer, he has worked as a presenter and producer in broadcast media for BBC, C4 and C5, and is a Sunday Times Bestselling author. He has specialisms in the history of farming, long-term landscape change, and medieval archaeology. He is Associate Professor of History and Heritage at Swansea University.
