In a beautiful field, overlooking the site and surrounding valley, the Chalke History Festival camp site is the perfect place to stay and make the most of the Festival.

Camping

Check-in between 9am & 6pm. Campers to be off-site by 6.30pm on Sunday.

Basic facilities – loos and piping hot showers. Water available from bowser so drinking water needs to be brought.

Broad Chalke Village Shop is walking distance, selling a range of essentials. Walking distance to Queens Head Pub – 1 Mile.

  • VWs, Motor homes and tents welcome.
  • Level grass pitches on 6 acre site – with easy walking distance to the main festival arena.
  • Safe and secure site with 24 hour security.
  • Shower facilities and toilets provided. Plenty of hot water.
  • Small gas BBQs allowed (only).
  • There is no electricity hook-up available.
  • Sorry no fires and no dogs, this is a working organic sheep farm.
  • Plenty of food and drink options at the main festival site. Fully licensed bar.
  • Daily bookings taken during the week.
  • Public transport to site – there is a regular bus service from Salisbury train station to Broad Chalke.
  • Easy to get to by road, taxi or bus.

All Glampers have access to the ‘Pamper tent’ which has mirrors, dressing tables and hair dryers.
