CHALKE HISTORY FESTIVAL FOR SCHOOLS 2024

There is so much for pupils to see and do at the Chalke History Festival for Schools – helping to bring the past alive in a unique and exciting way. We have limited spaces, so please do book early. To facilitate the planning of your trip download our standard risk assessment here.
Timings:
Monday 24th June – Years 10, 11 & 12 – 10am-3.15pm. (Closed for bookings)
Tuesday 25th June – Years 6, 7, 8 & 9 – 10am-3.15pm. (Closed for bookings)
Wednesday 26th June – SEND Day (all school ages) – 10am-3.15pm. (Closed for bookings)
Location: Manor Farm, Church Bottom, Broad Chalke, Salisbury, SP5 5DP.
There is plenty of parking for both coaches and minibuses and access to the site in Broad Chalke village, 25 minutes from Salisbury, is easy. Pupils can either bring a packed lunch or take advantage of the food stalls that are based at the festival throughout the week.
We are conscious that for some schools, budgets for school trips are very tight. The Chalke Valley History Trust has a limited amount of funding available to help as many schools as possible to experience the festival.
